"What a perfect week we're having! It's been sunny every day making for great swimming in the river - just wish the water was higher, we'll try coming earlier in the season next year. This comfortable cabin feels like home and has been a great "home base" for our hiking, trips to the valley, trip to Glacier Point. Not sure whether the kids enjoy the swimming hole or videos at night best, but they're really having fun and Rob and I are really enjoying "re-connecting" with them. "A cabin with everything needed for a vacation of a lifetime. We offset the price of the cabin by bringing all our food. After a long day of hiking and driving the unbelievable views of Yosemite, we relaxed in cabin 3N. We even got to watch our favorite TV shows on the satellite TV. Our cell phones were out of range but there was a phone in the cabin with free long distance. This cabin exceeded our expectations!". ~ kayakmom6

"This was our first stay at the Redwoods in Yosemite and we weren't disappointed. Cabin 3N (also known as Lockwood Lodge) is a cozy little cabin with an aura of the 1950s about it. The bedrooms were large, with pleasantly firm beds and plenty of warm bedding. The kitchen was small but fully equipped, with a microwave, refrigerator/freezer and gas stove. The floor heater worked like a charm and the fireplace threw off a lot of heat (once we got the fire going; the wood was rather damp). The cabin was stocked with a large selection of games and videos. The deck was wonderful, with a view of the South Fork of the Merced River. The staff at the main office were friendly and helpful, especially after we accidentally locked ourselves out of the cabin on the first evening! I would highly recommend the Redwoods and cabin 3N in particular, esp. for those traveling with pets.". ~ Fi0naCat

"We had a lovely time this week - we enjoyed very much the views from Glacier Point, Sentinel Dome, and the Fissures. The weather was perfect all week and we had lots of hiking, fishing, and birdwatching - even saw a bear crossing the road! Our favorite places were Glacier Point and the Mariposa Grove.
